We comply with both the Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment (RoHS) and the European Chemicals Regulation (REACH).

Some of the processed parts in our products are already made from reclaimed materials. For our other parts, we have always preferred high quality materials, and work with 100% recyclable plastics.

Selling to throw away is not part of the starmix philosophy. Our products are characterized by very high durability, which helps to protect the environment, and this since 1921.

We also rely on regional suppliers and exclude products from child labor.

Our factory in Ebersbach an der Fils, is furnished and equipped to the most modern, energy-efficient standard.

By implementing our environmental policy in our sustainability management, we have already implemented a number of environmental projects. Our commitment extends across the entire value chain. - Vehicle fleet with a high proportion of electric and hybrid vehicles;

- Monitoring and reduction of CO2 emissions;

- Conservation of resources (e.g. through the use of recycled plastic);

- Environmentally friendly packaging & instructions made from FSC-certified waste paper / fiber casting instead of polystyrene (Styrofoam);

- Good repairability & long availability of spare parts;

- If, after many years of use, the end of life has nevertheless been reached, old appliances can be recycled in an environmentally friendly manner, e.g. by taking them to a public collection point, a specialist dealer or the Starmix customer service department free of charge.
